LDA, The Lahore Development Authority teams conducted a grand operation against land grabbers in the last 24 hours and vacated land worth billions of rupees.
According to a spokesman for the LDA, the LDA and police conducted an operation against ‘qabza mafia’ in Johar Town at PIA Road to vacate the government land and properties of citizens.
The operation specifically targeted the notorious ‘qabza mafia,’ which had encroached upon government land and the properties of citizens in the target areas were located in Johar Town, PIA Road. The land grabbers illegally established shops, auction houses, and encroachments on these valuable properties.

Under the leadership of Director Housing VII, Moazzam Rashid, and under the watchful supervision of Additional DG Housing, Captain R. Shah Mir Iqbal, the teams successfully reclaimed more than 75 kanals of commercial land. This land, which had been wrongfully occupied, is estimated to be worth billions of rupees.
To ensure the operation’s effectiveness and security, various key figures and departments played a pivotal role. The ASP Police responsible for the area, along with the Director Enforcement, Director Town Planning-IV, Director State Management, and Director Law, collaborated seamlessly with a substantial police force.
Their collective efforts were instrumental in the successful eviction of the land grabbers and the restoration of these valuable properties to their rightful owners.
This operation not only serves as a testament to the commitment of the LDA and law enforcement agencies to upholding the rule of law but also sends a strong message to those who engage in illegal land-grabbing activities.
