In a proactive move against unauthorized housing, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) dealt a decisive blow to seven illegal societies. As part of a targeted operation, multiple teams from the authority took swift action, demolishing infrastructure belonging to Royal Smart City, Eagle Homes, Albek Scheme, Rana Park, Zaheer Villas, and Vital Orchard Scheme.
The crackdown didn’t stop there – even the extension office of Dream Housing Scheme, constructed without proper LDA authorization, faced repercussions and was promptly sealed.
This operation, spearheaded by Commissioner Lahore & DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, saw various departments of the authority, including the Private Housing Schemes Directorate and Enforcement Wing, collaborating seamlessly to enforce the law. Sewerage systems, boundary walls, offices, and roads within these unauthorized schemes were dismantled in accordance with the directives.
This decisive action signifies the LDA’s unwavering commitment to curbing illegal housing ventures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and safeguarding the integrity of approved projects.
