LAHORE — A horrifying case involving the alleged rape, torture, forced abortion, and death of a teenage domestic worker has surfaced in Lahore’s Model Town area, triggering outrage and demands for immediate arrests.
According to the FIR and statements recorded before her death, 18/19-year-old Ayesha, a domestic worker from Faisalabad, accused multiple individuals of sexually assaulting, threatening, and physically abusing her during her employment at a house located in Model Town’s G-175 block.
Police documents state that Ayesha had been working at the residence for nearly a year.
The FIR alleges that in November 2025, tensions reportedly developed between the homeowner and his wife. During that period, the victim claimed that homeowner Syed Aoun Ali Naqvi and his driver Hassan repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
According to the victim’s statement, she later fell pregnant. The matter came to light after she was taken to a hospital due to deteriorating health, where doctors allegedly confirmed her pregnancy.
The victim further alleged that the accused later pressured her into terminating the pregnancy at a private medical facility identified as Sohail Surgical City in Raiwind.
The FIR also states that the teenage girl was allegedly subjected to severe physical torture and repeatedly threatened with death if she spoke about the abuse.
According to investigators, the victim was allegedly moved between different locations for several days while her health continued to deteriorate. When her condition became critical, she was shifted to Services Hospital in Lahore, where she later died.
The case has sparked anger on social media, with rights activists demanding strict action against all individuals named in the FIR.
The victim’s family has appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Punjab Police, and senior law enforcement officials to immediately arrest Syed Aoun Ali Naqvi, driver Hassan, and other accused individuals named in the case.
The family says they are also receiving threats for pursuing legal action and speaking publicly about the incident.
Police officials have yet to release a detailed public statement regarding arrests or progress in the investigation.
The incident has once again raised serious concerns about the vulnerability of domestic workers, abuse of power, and violence against women in Pakistan.
