Ehsaas e Pension initiative approved by KP government to make the pension process transparent, fast, and fully digital. This step will replace the old paper-based system with an easy online service for retiring employees.
According to the official notification, the Ehsaas e Pension initiative will use the new Ehsaas Pension Dashboard (EPD). The system will ensure that pension cases are handled on time without the need for physical files. The goal is to provide quick, fair, and citizen-friendly services to all pensioners.
The roadmap for the project includes process redesign, legal reforms, and digital system development. A pilot phase will be followed by a complete rollout across the province. From January 1, 2026, the use of the EPD will be mandatory for all new pension cases.
To make this plan successful, every department has been asked to appoint a senior focal person. A steering committee will also be formed with members from Finance, Establishment, KPITB, the Accountant General’s Office, and other departments. The Finance Department will lead the work of redesigning pension workflows.
Updates about the Ehsaas e Pension initiative will be shared with the Chief Minister’s office every two weeks through the CM’s Decision Management System. Officials said the reform reflects the KP government’s focus on digital governance and the dignity of retiring public servants.
