The Knight Foundation has named Amalie Nash as its new Vice President of Journalism, effective September 2025. In her new role, she will oversee the foundation’s journalism programme and guide strategic funding and newsroom innovation.
Nash joins the Knight Foundation with an extensive media leadership background. She recently led the Newsroom Transformation Initiative at the International News Media Association (INMA). Earlier, she served as Head of Transformation at the National Trust for Local News, advising media nonprofits.
