In a major relief for government employees, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has approved a significant increase in the House Requisition Allowance for employees and officers from Grade 3 to Grade 22.
According to an official notification issued by the KP Finance Department, the revised allowance will apply to employees serving in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, and Governor’s Secretariat. The new rates have taken effect from July 1, 2026.
Under the revised structure, employees in Grades 3–6 will receive Rs6,000 per month, Grades 7–10 will receive Rs9,000, Grades 11–13 will get Rs13,000, and Grades 14–15 will receive Rs16,000.
Employees in Grade 16 will be entitled to Rs18,000, while officers in Grades 17–18 will receive Rs21,000 per month. The allowance has also been increased to Rs28,000 for Grade 19, Rs35,000 for Grade 20, Rs42,000 for Grade 21, and Rs52,000 for Grade 22 officers.
In a separate development, the KP government has also increased the Special Conveyance Allowance for government employees with disabilities. According to another notification issued by the Finance Department, the monthly allowance has been raised from Rs6,000 to Rs10,000, effective July 1, 2026. This increase aims to provide greater financial support to differently-abled government employees.
