Crying ‘Cocaine Queen’ claims torture, alleges pressure to link Bani Gala in drug case

Alleged drug suspect Anmol alias “Pinky,” widely referred to in media circles as the “Cocaine Queen,” created dramatic scenes during and after her appearance before a judicial magistrate in Karachi’s South district court.

While coming out of the courtroom in a visibly emotional state, Anmol claimed in a crying tone that she had been subjected to torture during alleged illegal detention and was pressured to implicate “someone from Bani Gala” in a cocaine supply case.

According to witnesses present outside the court, she alleged that investigators repeatedly forced her to connect a person associated with Bani Gala to drug trafficking activities.

However, no evidence was presented in court to support those claims, and authorities have not publicly responded to the allegations.

During the hearing, Anmol loudly protested inside the courtroom, alleging that she had been unlawfully detained for 22 days after being picked up from Lahore and later shifted to Karachi.

“I have been picked up for 22 days and tortured,” she told the court while raising her voice during the proceedings.

She further alleged that police officials subjected her to physical abuse and registered false cases against her.

The emotional outburst briefly disrupted courtroom proceedings, prompting the presiding judge to intervene and restore order.

The judge assured the accused that no harassment would be tolerated inside the courtroom and stated that both Anmol and her legal counsel would be given a fair opportunity to present their case.
