Gold prices in Pakistan surged by Rs11,200 per tola in one day, reaching Rs465,236, as international gold prices climbed $112 to $4,427 per ounce.
The domestic gold market witnessed a sharp increase on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs11,200 per tola to Rs465,236.
According to market data, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs9,602, reaching Rs398,864.
Silver prices also moved higher, with the price per tola increasing by Rs185 to Rs7,044.
The latest surge came a day after gold prices had fallen sharply across Pakistan. On the previous day, the price of 24-karat gold had decreased by Rs11,300 per tola to Rs454,036.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold had declined by Rs9,688 to Rs389,262, while silver had dropped by Rs270 per tola to Rs6,859.
The latest movement reflects continued volatility in both domestic and international precious metals markets.
