KARACHI: A judicial magistrate in Karachi South has set July 25 as the date to indict Anmol, alias “Pinky,” who is facing multiple drug trafficking charges.
The court adjourned further proceedings for two weeks after fixing the indictment date.
According to jail authorities, copies of the charge sheets and witness statements in six separate cases have been provided to the accused inside the prison. The documents were personally delivered by jail staff in compliance with court orders.
Police said the cases against Anmol were registered between 2020 and 2022, adding that she had remained a proclaimed absconder in those cases.
Officials further stated that following her arrest in a case registered at Garden Police Station, she was formally arrested in the remaining pending narcotics cases as well
