Dr. Muhammad Shabbir Sarwar, Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism Studies, has been appointed to perform the additional duties of Director of Sports at Punjab University. This role, effective immediately, will extend for six months.
Dr. Sarwar is a multifaceted professional with a notable career spanning various roles. He currently serves as Editor at The Educationist and Punjab University News. His expertise extends to being a media analyst, researcher, writer, and election observer. Additionally, he contributes as a staff reporter for the Daily Times Lahore.
With a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from FC College Lahore, and then a doctorate from Punjab University, Dr. Sarwar brings knowledge and experience to his new responsibilities. His extensive background and versatile skill set make him a valuable asset to the university’s sports program.
