KARACHI: New details have surfaced in the investigation of alleged drug dealer Anmol alias “Pinky,” who was recently arrested in a narcotics and illegal weapons case in Karachi.
According to investigative sources, the accused allegedly sold one gram of cocaine for between Rs15,000 and Rs20,000 through an online distribution system. During interrogation, authorities reportedly discovered that transactions and customer coordination were largely handled digitally.
Sources further revealed that for new customers, the suspect avoided direct rider deliveries and instead used secret drop-off locations. Buyers were allegedly instructed to collect narcotics from specific spots shared by the accused.
Investigators also claim that the network was active in Karachi’s upscale neighborhoods and educational institutions, raising concerns among law enforcement agencies.
Officials say a six-member gang was involved in the operation, including one woman and five men, who allegedly assisted in the supply and distribution of drugs across the city.
The investigation remains underway as authorities attempt to trace the wider network and identify additional suspects linked to the operation.
