The Defense Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi, has issued a statement announcing a restriction on non-DHA residents from entering Nisar Shaheed Park in Phase IV. Through an official tweet, the DHA authorities have clarified that only DHA residents are permitted to access and enjoy the park.
In addition, the authorities have specified a dress code for park visitors. According to the statement, individuals must be dressed in a sports kit or can opt for joggers paired with Shalwar Kamiz. Pants and shirts are also acceptable. The residents have been kindly requested to adhere to the entry protocols established by the management to maintain a peaceful environment. Only families or groups of residents will be allowed entry, and individual entries are prohibited.

Farrukh Rizvi, the spokesperson for DHA, conveyed to the local media that this decision has been made in the best interest of DHA residents.
While the exact method of identifying non-DHA residents has not been outlined yet, it remains to be seen whether the authorities will be able to effectively enforce this instruction.
