NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik has decided to resign after the investigation into the data leaks of the army chief’s family. Chairman NADRA has sent his resignation to the Prime Minister.
Sources say that after the resignation, the Prime Minister has summoned the Chairman NADRA. The decision of whether to accept the resignation of the Chairman NADRA or allow him to continue working will be taken by the Prime Minister. The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Chairman NADRA is currently underway.
The investigation into the data leakage of the Army Chief and his family from NADRA, as well as the contract of NADRA cards, was ongoing against Chairman NADRA.
