A deliberate incident occurred on Sunday when a man drove his car into the second floor of a residence in Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
The driver is currently awaiting charges as authorities investigate this “intentional act”. This crash accident became viral on the internet due to the surprising pictures of car on the 2nd floor beyond the human think.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, discovering a grey vehicle protruding from the side of the house. The method by which the car ended up on the second floor remains undisclosed.
Despite the shocking nature of the event, occupants within the home, estimated to be between one to three individuals, escaped harm. The Junction Fire Company assisted in the emergency response, confirming that those inside the house were unharmed.
Meanwhile, the driver managed to exit the car and make his way onto the roof, sustaining injuries that required hospitalization.
The peculiar trajectory of the car’s impact was attributed to a culvert situated beside the house, on its left side. According to Sam Baumgardner, an administrator at the Junction Fire Company, the vehicle entered the culvert, subsequently propelling into the air and landing on the second floor in Pennsylvania.
Upon investigating the incident, Lewistown police concluded that the crash was a deliberate act. Consequently, the driver will be facing legal charges for their actions.
The challenging task of removing the car from the second floor took approximately three hours, as emergency responders had to employ innovative strategies.
Furthermore, to ensure the stability of the house and prepare for upcoming storms, rescue crews stabilized the structure and covered the crash-created hole with a tarp, as reported by the Junction Fire Company’s Facebook post.
