At least 35 Pakistanis have been killed in a tragic accident in Yazd, Iran when a bus carrying them overturned due to brake failure.
According to Iranian media reports, the accident happened close to the Dashir Taftan checkpoint; the bus with 53 passengers onboard skidded and flipped over before catching fire.
Reports from Iran reaching the writers indicated that twenty-five passengers were injured in the crash, with rescue teams approaching the scene to evacuate the injured and retrieve the bodies. The hospitals nearby have been put on alert to take in the increasing number of dead bodies.
On the other hand, Maulana Qamar Abbas Naqvi also affirmed that all those injured were moved to the hospital. The bus was said to be on the way from Larkana and most of the burnt bodies have been identified as those of men and women hailing from Larkana and Ghotki city.
All the people, especially families and communities, are in a state of shock as the victims were going through their pilgrimage journey at the time of this calamity. A continued process of providing aid to people who need it in form of medical attention for the injured or in terms of consolation to the families who lost their loved ones.
