Britney Spears has broken her silence over divorce filing by her husband Sam Asghari and cheating allegations.
She shared her version of the news on her Instagram page, saying
“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business!!!,” she wrote.
“But, I couldn’t take the pain any more honestly!!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you!!! I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!! I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but for some reason, I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses!!!”

Spears concluded saying how she will be “as strong as I can and do my best!!! And I’m actually doing pretty damn good!!! Anyway, have a good day and don’t forget to smile!!!”
Sam Asghari, aged 29, and Britney Spears, aged 41, started their relationship in 2016 when he appeared in her music video for “Slumber Party.”
They got engaged in September 2021 after Britney’s conservatorship was terminated, and they tied the knot on June 9, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at her California home.
Britney wore a custom Versace gown, and the event was attended by celebrity friends, including Madonna, Donatella Versace, Paris Hilton, and Drew Barrymore.
As of now, Sam Asghari has filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support along with payment for his legal fees. He is also attempting to prevent Britney Spears from seeking financial support from him. The value of their assets, both individually and jointly owned, is yet to be determined.
