In a devastating incident, a 24-year-old woman named Priyanka lost her life after a roller coaster ride malfunctioned at the Fun and Food Village amusement park in Delhi. The accident occurred when the structural stand of the swing broke at its peak, causing Priyanka to fall from a significant height.
Priyanka, a resident of Chanakyapuri and a sales manager by profession was visiting the park with her fiancé, Nikhil, for a day of leisure. The couple had been enjoying water rides before moving to the amusement section of the park. The tragedy struck during the roller coaster ride, which they boarded around 6:15 PM. As the swing reached its highest point, the stand gave way, leading to the fatal fall.

Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Priyanka succumbed to her injuries. Her fiancé, Nikhil, informed her family and the authorities about the incident. Priyanka’s family has accused the amusement park of negligence, citing inadequate safety measures and delayed medical assistance. The roller coaster ride has since been shut down, and the park management has yet to issue an official statement.
