A bomb explosion in Wana Bazaar, South Waziristan, has killed three people and injured three others, according to police sources.
Officials confirmed that the incident was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED).
Police said the blast occurred near Malik Tariq, a chief of the Ahmadzai tribe, who was killed on the spot. The explosion created panic in the busy market area,
prompting immediate response from security forces who cordoned off the site.
The injured were shifted to a nearby medical facility, where they are receiving emergency treatment. Authorities said some of the wounded are in critical condition.
Following the incident, police and security agencies launched a search operation in the area to trace those responsible for the attack
