Azfar Nizami has been appointed to the additional role of Executive Director (ED) Sales at Express News, expanding his leadership responsibilities. Previously, he headed Sales & Marketing for Daily Express Newspaper.
As a driving force behind revenue generation at Express Media Group’s newspaper and digital platforms, Azfar has spearheaded numerous successful real estate and education expos, both within Pakistan and internationally.
Azfar Nizami’s expertise in leveraging digital innovations like webinars and podcasts has positioned him and his team at the forefront of the Pakistani media industry, creating impactful content that highlights the brand’s unique value proposition.
Azfar began his media career with Network Television Marketing (NTM), Pakistan’s first private TV network, before moving to the Jang Group of newspapers. He later contributed to boosting sales for FM channels before joining Express Media Group at its inception.
He played a pivotal role in launching and marketing Daily Express from 11 stations and in the launch of The Express Tribune in affiliation with The New York Times.
Azfar Nizami holds an MBA in Finance from Greenwich University, Karachi, which he completed in June 2000.
