The OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) has introduced a new research fellowship program targeting students, scholars, and institutions in Mauritania.
This program aims to improve scientific capabilities and bolster connections between Pakistan and Mauritania.
A reliable source stated that these research grants are a component of the joint Science and Technology Capacity Building Program, which was initiated in partnership with Mauritania’s National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation.
Within the framework of the COMSTECH-Mauritania Program, young researchers and early-career scientists in Mauritania will have the chance to spend six months at leading institutions in OIC member countries, notably in Pakistan.
These fellowships are designed to enhance the research and development skills of Mauritanian scholars, promoting partnerships early in their careers for ongoing collaboration.
Mauritanian students and scholars can also take advantage of other COMSTECH initiatives, regularly promoted on the organization’s website and social media.
Mauritania’s research and development institutions are urged to collaborate with COMSTECH Center of Excellence institutions to facilitate knowledge sharing, technological progress, and skills enhancement.
Applications must be submitted by December 10, and additional information can be found on COMSTECH’s official website at https://comstech.org/comstech-mauritania-program-nov-2023/.
