Ex-PM Imran Khan gets relief from the court, anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has granted bail to Imran Khan in two cases till June 2. Imran Khan got bail in the Jinnah House vandalism case and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Zille Shah murder case.
A petition was filed by Imran Khan through his lawyer, Barrister Salman Safder, and asserted ‘a groundless case’ had been registered against him in the Zille Shah murder case.
The plea stated that Imran Khan was a victim of vendetta politics and being singled out for political reasons, Samaa TV reported.
The petition said Imran Khan should get interim bail in the Zille Shah murder case, citing security concerns.According to a police investigation report, Zille Shah, a PTI activist, was hit by a car when he was trying to cross the road in Lahore. He was rushed to Services Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
