Pakistani actor Alizeh Shah has issued a blunt response to senior singer Shazia Manzoor, dismissing her recent remarks as insincere and reopening a long-running controversy that dates back to a fashion show incident in December 2021.
The dispute began when Alizeh Shah slipped while walking the ramp alongside Shazia Manzoor during a live performance. A clip of the moment went viral on social media, after which Shah alleged she had been deliberately pushed. Manzoor has consistently denied the claim.
In a recent interview, Shazia Manzoor again rejected the allegation, prompting Alizeh Shah to respond on Instagram with a strongly worded message. Shah wrote that expecting sincerity merely because someone is a senior is “like hitting one’s head against a wall,” adding that seniority does not automatically guarantee truth, wisdom or grace.
