The highly anticipated Apple event to unveil the iPhone 15 series is likely to take place on Tuesday, September 12, as reported by Bloomberg’s reliable source, Mark Gurman.
This aligns with the historical trend of previous iPhone launches, which have typically occurred within the first two weeks of September.
While initially suggesting both September 12 and September 13 as potential dates in his recent Power On newsletter, Gurman now indicates that September 12 is gaining consensus as the more probable choice for the event. Apple has traditionally chosen Tuesdays for its autumn iPhone events, strategically timed to boost sales before the end of the fiscal quarter.
If the iPhone 15 lineup is indeed revealed on September 12, following Apple’s usual schedule, pre-orders are expected to start on Friday, September 15, with the official launch taking place on Friday, September 22.
The upcoming unveiling is anticipated to introduce four new iPhone models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. All these models are expected to feature the Dynamic Island feature and a transition to USB-C for charging, replacing the Lightning port.
