Four suspects detained in an alleged gang rape case were killed in firing by unidentified attackers while police were taking them for crime scene identification.

Four suspects detained in an alleged gang rape case were killed in firing by unidentified attackers within the jurisdiction of Rehman Baba Police Station in Peshawar.
According to a police spokesperson, the suspects were being taken to identify the crime scene when unidentified assailants opened indiscriminate fire at police. The attack killed all four suspects, while the police personnel remained safe.
The deceased suspects included Amir, Jalal and Imdas.
According to the Peshawar CCPO, the suspects had allegedly entered a house in Shab Garhi Mausam Khan four days earlier by scaling its wall and allegedly assaulted women at gunpoint.
Police had arrested the suspects and recovered weapons allegedly used in the incident. Further investigation is underway, while a search for the unidentified attackers has also been launched.
