PESHAWAR: A devastating house fire claimed the lives of six members of the same family in the Tehkal Payan area of Peshawar, rescue officials said
According to Rescue 1122, the bodies of six people were recovered from a room during a search operation. The victims included a husband, wife, and their four children.
Officials said the family is believed to have died from extreme heat and smoke inhalation. The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and an investigation is underway.
Rescue authorities added that the section of the house where the fire broke out was being used to store furniture and other household items. Further inquiries are being conducted to establish how the blaze started.
