A new flagship smartphone from Vivo is shaping up to challenge industry leaders Samsung and Apple, with leaked specifications pointing to one of the most powerful devices yet in the premium segment.
The upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max, expected later this year, is rumored to feature a 200-megapixel zoom camera, a massive battery exceeding 7,000mAh, and the new MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, which has already delivered impressive performance in early benchmark leaks.
According to reports, the phone will also include a 50MP main camera with LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) technology, designed to improve HDR performance and deliver better image quality in high-contrast lighting conditions.
Industry observers say the 200MP sensor could significantly enhance zoom photography, allowing users to crop images without losing detail — effectively narrowing the gap between digital and optical zoom capabilities.
