Pakistani judoka Malaika Noor Asian Judo Silver has made history by winning a silver medal at the Amman Asian Open Judo Championship 2025. This victory marks the first time a Pakistani woman has won a medal at an Asian-level judo competition.
The 20-year-old rising star competed in the 52kg category. She impressed with her powerful performance, defeating Jordan’s Raneem Aljazazi in the semi-final. In the final, she faced a tough Saudi opponent. Despite a strong fight, she missed the gold by a narrow margin and secured silver.
