    Maria B Backs Sarah Khan, Criticizes Reham Khan and Western Feminist Ideas

    Fashion designer Maria B has openly supported actress Sarah Khan while criticizing writer and former journalist Reham Khan for promoting what she calls “Western feminist ideas” in Pakistan. Maria B Sarah Khan feminism.

    This debate began in May when Sarah Khan said in an interview that she does not consider herself a feminist. She described herself as a traditional woman who prefers staying at home and letting her husband handle tasks like paying bills. According to Sarah, men should be given their rightful position in society so that women can live peacefully without unnecessary burdens.

    In response, Reham Khan argued that Sarah’s success in the TV industry is possible only because of feminism and women’s rights movements. Reham claimed that without these struggles, women like Sarah would not have had opportunities to work on television or express their opinions freely. She further said that rejecting feminism strengthens existing barriers for women in society.

    Recently, Maria B joined the discussion through an Instagram video, strongly supporting Sarah Khan’s stance. Maria B emphasized that in Islam. The concept is not “My body, my choice,” but rather “My body is a trust from Allah.”

    Maria B added that a woman becomes truly empowered when she respects and serves her parents, honors her husband and brothers, and even maintains the dignity of an ex-husband. She believes that rising crimes against women are a result of society moving away from Islamic teachings. Maria stated that Sarah Khan spoke the truth, and most Pakistani parents support her perspective.
