Netanyahu Claims ‘Historic’ Victory Amid Iran Ceasefire, U.S. Intel Downplays Strike Impact, Executions Follow Truce, and Trump Lashes Out at Media
June 24, 2025 — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared a “historic” victory following the ceasefire with Iran, but early U.S. intelligence assessments paint a far more restrained picture of the conflict’s outcomes.
According to reports from Washington, the recent U.S.-led airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities have only delayed Iran’s program by a few months, not dismantled it, as previously implied by Israeli officials.

His comments sparked fresh debate over press freedom and the politicization of foreign policy coverage.
While Netanyahu hailed the military campaign as a “turning point in the region,” American analysts and defense officials caution that Iran’s nuclear ambitions remain intact, albeit momentarily disrupted.
