Sajjad Mansoori, the guru of advertising, copy, and design, has passed away due to a fatal heart attack. I didn’t know Sajjad Mansoori very well, but we connected over the phone a few months ago. Our first meeting was at his home in Lahore Cantt, where we enjoyed Rooh Afza, followed by a long sitting with tea, pakoras, and biscuits.
Sajjad Mansoori had witnessed the peak of the advertising industry, with major clients eager to meet him. However, the Sajjad Mansoori I met was somewhat broken inside, yet he remained hopeful about new ideas and projects.
A few weeks ago, Sajjad came to the office to discuss a project, and we had a long chat. He spoke about his children, who, like their father, are hardworking and award-winning.
May Allah grant Sajjad Mansoori eternal peace and give his family the strength to bear this loss.
