According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr as he wishes to stay in Europe.
He had attempted to secure a return to Real Madrid after leaving Manchester United in January. However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had blocked Ronaldo’s return to the club.
Despite this, Ronaldo reportedly misses his time in Madrid and has been offered a non-playing role as a club ambassador or to be part of their sports organization chart by Perez. Ronaldo, who has 11 goals in 14 games across competitions for Al Nassr, may not retire soon, but he could have a future job at Real Madrid once he does. His contract with Al Nassr, reportedly worth €200 million per year, will expire in 2024.
It is expected that Ronaldo will not end his career at Al Nassr’s Mrsool Park and will be heading back to Europe.
