The notorious dacoit from the Kacha region, Shahid Lund, has reportedly been killed. Punjab Police claims that Shahid Lund was killed in a encounter with the police in Rajanpur. However, sources from the Lund tribe have a different narrative, stating that Shahid was actually killed during an internal tribal dispute by a member of the Umar Lund.

For context, Shahid Lund hailed from Rajanpur and was a well known bandit (Daku) in the Kacha area. He gained nationwide recognition through his social media presence, particularly on his YouTube channel. Following the killing of police officers in Rahim Yar Khan, the Interior Ministry had listed him among the country’s most dangerous Dacoits. Shahid protested against this , demanding his removal from the list.
