Viral video: Dr. Zakir Naik refuses to give shield to orphan girls

Lahore (Media Bites Web Desk): A video has gone viral on social media showing famous Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik leaving the stage during an event in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad.

According to reports, the incident took place on Wednesday when Dr. Zakir Naik was invited as the chief guest at an award ceremony for orphan children organized by the organization “Pakistan Sweet Home” in Islamabad.

As per media reports, when the event organizers requested Dr. Zakir Naik to present awards ( shields )to orphan girls, and as the stage started filling up with girls, Dr. Zakir Naik suddenly left the stage.

Social media sources claim that Dr. Zakir Naik refused to present the shields to the girls, stating that since they are non-Mhram, he would not be able to hand them the shields personally.

As we know Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on September 30 for an almost one-month visit.
