The new year started with heart-wrenching and distressing news from Abu Dhabi, UAE, as New Year became the last day for 5 people from the same family.
Five members of the UAE family died in a car crash on Al-Watan road in the Ajman Masfoot area (Al-Watan road connects Hatta with Masfoot area in Ajman) as they were heading from Hatta in Dubai to their home after enjoying the New Year’s Eve festival.
This horrible and painful accident took place on 1 January Monday, as people were setting their New Year goals and planning ahead. The car crash ended the lives of 5 people and ended their journey there. They would have never imagined such a dreadful death.
The deceased included an Emirati couple, their 2 daughters, and a niece. They are identified as Mohammed Salem Hadi Al Ameri, his spouse, and his daughters.
As the incident was reported, the patrolling team reached the spot and shifted 2 girls to the city hospital, who were seriously injured.
It is reported that the reason behind this deadly crash between the Emirati family car and the truck was due to the negligence of the driver.
The abrupt loss of these five lives stands as a stark reminder of the fragility of human existence and the profound impact of a moment’s lapse in attention or judgment. The deceased was buried in Bani Yas Cemetary.
