Government to Announce 5,000 New Jobs in Budget 2023-24 In the upcoming budget 2023-24, the federal government plans to advertise 5,000 new job opportunities. According to sources familiar with the matter, the federal budget deficit is expected to reach Rs100 billion.
Recently, the details of development funds allocated to 40 different ministries, divisions, and corporations in the new budget were disclosed. SAMAA TV has obtained these details, revealing that the highest allocation of Rs160.8 billion will be utilized for road construction across the country.
Furthermore, there is a proposed increase of Rs60 billion in the budget of the National Highway Authority. Documents indicate that the water resources sector is set to receive Rs110 billion after an increment of Rs12.5 billion. Additionally, the budget for the Higher Education Commission is likely to rise by Rs15 billion, reaching Rs59.71 billion.
