Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed zero tolerance for national security threats while reviewing high-tech training exercises and operational readiness during a visit to Lahore Garrison, ISPR said.

Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Asim Munir, has reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army maintains zero tolerance toward any threat to national security, underscoring the armed forces’ unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and internal stability.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison, where he was given a comprehensive briefing on the formation’s operational readiness, training standards, and measures undertaken to enhance combat effectiveness.
During the visit, the army chief reviewed operational and war preparedness and was briefed on ongoing training exercises, the integration of modern technologies, and improvements in military infrastructure. He also observed a special field training exercise, showcasing the practical application of advanced technologies and contemporary combat tactics.
ISPR said the field marshal praised the professionalism, morale, and dedication of officers and troops, noting that the armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to evolving security challenges.
Addressing officers, Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are resolute in defending the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability. He reiterated that any threat to national security would be met with zero tolerance, adding that the army continues to strengthen a culture of discipline, high standards, and selfless national service.
As part of the visit, the field marshal also inspected sports and recreational facilities provided for troops, describing them as essential for physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being.
He later visited the High Care Center at CMH Lahore, where he commended the medical staff and administration for delivering modern, high-quality healthcare services.
ISPR said the visit highlighted the Pakistan Army’s continued focus on operational excellence, professional competence, and preparedness to counter a broad spectrum of security challenges with resolve and vigilance.
