Xiaomi’s latest smartphone series, the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, was unveiled today during a launch event in Berlin, Germany.
These new devices share many features with their Redmi K60 Ultra counterpart, previously available exclusively in the Chinese market. However, the Xiaomi 13T series sets itself apart with upgraded camera capabilities and the addition of IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, a first for the T series.
Xiaomi 13T: The Xiaomi 13T boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, and a remarkable peak brightness exceeding 2,600 nits. Under the hood, these phones are powered by the advanced 4nm Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset, a collaboration with MediaTek, featuring customized enhancements by Xiaomi. Users can choose between 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and enjoy spacious 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The primary camera on the Xiaomi 13T features an impressive 50 MP sensor with a size of 1/1.28 inches, 1.22 μm individual pixels, and optical image stabilization (OIS) with a wide f/1.9 aperture. There’s also a “portrait” telephoto camera with similar specs and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter. For selfies, there’s a 20 MP front-facing camera in a punch hole design.
Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 67W wired charging, promising a full charge in just 42 minutes. The Xiaomi 13T is available in three colors: Meadow Green and Black with glass back panels and Alpine Blue with a BioComfort vegan leather finish. Pricing starts at €650 for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration.
Xiaomi 13T Pro: The Xiaomi 13T Pro shares the same 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate as the standard version but steps up the performance with the more powerful Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
Both phones feature a common camera setup with triple Leica cameras (50 MP + 50 MP + 12 MP) and a 20 MP selfie camera, along with a 5,000 mAh battery. The Xiaomi 13T Pro offers 12 GB or 16 GB of faster LPDDR5X RAM and storage options include 256 GB, 512 GB, or a generous 1 TB.
A standout feature of the 13T Pro is its 120W HyperCharge support, enabling a full charge in just 19 minutes. Both phones also feature dual speakers and support Dolby Atmos Audio, running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 overlay. The Xiaomi 13T Pro is available in the same colors: Green, Black, and Vegan Leather Blue, with a starting price of €800 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant.
