Pakistani social media influencer and TikToker, Hareem Shah, caused a stir on Twitter as she reacted strongly to the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.
Just before Khan’s arrest, Hareem Shah warned that she would release all the pictures and videos from her phone on social media if he was apprehended.

Following Imran Khan’s arrest by Punjab Police from his Lahore residence, Hareem Shah tweeted in defence of the former prime minister, praising his efforts to bring positive change to Pakistan, care for the less fortunate, and confront the elite class and mafias.

Hareem Shah also made a pointed reference to another former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, questioning why he was able to live freely in London despite allegations of corruption, while Imran Khan, who had established three hospitals for free cancer treatment, was facing what she deemed an unfair punishment.

In another tweet, Hareem said “we are not idiots”, everyone knows that Khan has been arrested at the behest of “absconding thief” Nawaz Sharif and his fraud daughter. She said that a government minister is now requesting her not to release his videos and saying that it was not in their power to release Imran Khan.
