The Jazz Nothing Phone launch in Pakistan started with big promises but ended with poor results. In April 2025, Jazz’s youth brand ROX joined hands with UK-based Nothing to bring transparent smartphones to Pakistan. The Jazz ROX Nothing partnership aimed to target Gen Z with stylish devices and compete with Samsung. Despite the hype, the Nothing Phone failed in the Pakistan market soon after its launch.
The main reason was pricing. The Nothing Phone pricing in Pakistan ranged from PKR 84,900 to PKR 239,900. For many Gen Z buyers, these prices were too high. People preferred cheaper options or imported phones instead.
Policy issues also hurt sales. Pakistan’s contract-based smartphone policy did not work well. Zong refused to support it, forcing Jazz to offer an installment plan for Nothing Phones. But few customers used it due to low awareness and trust.
Another problem was access. Nothing Phone availability in Pakistan was limited to 10 Jazz Centers in big cities. Small-town and rural buyers could not easily find the phones.
The phones also faced tough competition. Many premium phones already existed, and the Nothing Phone competition with Samsung in Pakistan did not succeed. At the same time, Jazz customer complaints about Nothing phones and service quality made things worse.
The launch lineup included the Nothing Phone 2 and 2a in Pakistan and the CMF Phone 1. Early buyers got free CMF Buds and a Jazz ROX bundle. However, the Nothing Phone market response in Pakistan was weak. Reviews were mixed, and Jazz Nothing smartphone sales stayed low.
Experts say the Nothing Phone local distribution in Pakistan and marketing strategy failed. Talks about a Nothing Phone 3a launch in Pakistan exist, but success in the Gen Z smartphones Pakistan market remains uncertain.
