Former premier Nawaz Sharif’s highly anticipated return from London is in the final planning stages as sources revealed that Mr Sharif is set to arrive in Lahore from London via a commercial passenger flight on October 15.
Sources reveal that Nawaz Sharif has opted for a regular passenger flight for his return, rather than a special chartered one. He has entrusted the central leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) with the responsibility of organizing his reception.
In an effort to ensure a grand welcome, former members of assemblies and party officials have been directed to mobilize as many supporters as possible to greet their party leader upon his arrival.
Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Organizer of PML-N, is overseeing all aspects related to the reception.
Meanwhile, the PML-N is engaged in discussions to finalize the date for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan. A crucial meeting within the party has been scheduled for today, where PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif will meet with his brother Nawaz.
During this meeting, the two leaders are expected to deliberate on the definitive date for Nawaz’s return. Pakistani PML-N leaders will also participate in the meeting remotely.
The stage is set for Nawaz Sharif’s return, and the PML-N is diligently working to ensure a warm and significant homecoming for their supremo.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif is expected to return to Pakistan on October 15 this year as per family discussions, private TV channel Geo News reported.
It was also reported that the matter of the date was discussed between Mr SHarif, and his younger brother Shehbaz Sharif and close family members in London.
According to family sources, an official date of October 15 has been confirmed for Mr Sharif’s return to Pakistan, replacing his earlier planned arrival in mid-September.
Joining the scenario, PMLN President Shahbaz Sharif has recently landed in London to hold discussions with Nawaz Sharif.
