A video of a woman dancing energetically to a Punjabi song inside a Delhi metro station has gone viral on social media, garnering two million views.
Despite the Delhi Metro RailCorporation (DMRC) warning against filming videos inside train coaches, some commuters continue to do so. The woman in the video, identified as itz_officialroy, can be seen grooving to the Punjabi song ‘Shape’, sung by Kaka, in a red top and grey pleated skirt.
In her Instagram caption, she acknowledged that such behaviour was not allowed but said she had done it for the first time in the Delhi metro. While some social media users praised her dance and confidence, others expressed their displeasure and suggested that the DMRC should impose fines on those breaking the rules
. Last month, the DMRC prohibited passengers from recording videos while traveling and urged them to be passengers rather than nuisances.
