An Alaska Airlines flight from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California, made an emergency landing in Oregon after a window and a portion of its fuselage blew out mid-air.
A passenger shared a photo showing a hole in the Alaska Airlines aircraft’s side. The plane, a Boeing 737-9 MAX, landed safely back at Portland International Airport with 174 passengers and six crew members.

The incident is under investigation, and the National Transportation Safety Board is looking into the event. There is no immediate information about injuries. The flight took off from Portland and returned shortly after departure.
