Pakistan’s esteemed, well-informed, and senior anchor Mohammad Malick has made a high-profile return to mainstream media by joining ARY News.
Malick will helm the network’s coveted 10 PM slot, bringing his vast experience and sharp insights to one of the country’s largest news platforms.
Malick, formerly associated with Aik News, had previously made headlines for his surprising decision to join the lesser-known channel—a move that many viewed with skepticism.
Now, with his return to ARY News, he is poised to reconnect with a wider audience and reinforce his position in the media landscape.
Announcing the news on Twitter/X, Malick expressed his enthusiasm:
“This is to inform all friends and well-wishers that I have joined ARY Network and, Inshallah shall be hosting the 10 PM show (Monday-Thursday). It’s indeed a privilege to represent the country’s biggest news network.”
A veteran journalist with an illustrious career, Malick has worn many hats, from being the editor of Daily The News to a prominent primetime talk show host at different TV networks i.e. 92 News, Hum News, etc. His reputation as a thought leader in political and media circles has earned him recognition both in Pakistan and internationally.
Before his stint with Aik News, Malick played a key role in the launch of Hum News and has also held high-ranking positions in Pakistan Television (PTV), where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing, and later as Managing Director.
His expertise also extended into the political arena, where he worked as a media advisor to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
While his time at Aik News was challenging due to the difficulties of building ratings for a new channel, Malick now faces a different challenge at ARY News: maintaining and growing his loyal viewership on a well-established platform.
Mediabites extends its warmest wishes to Mohammad Malick for a prosperous and impactful tenure at ARY News, where his experience and intellect are sure to shine.
