LAHORE — A tragic food poisoning incident has been reported in Lahore, where two minor sisters died after allegedly consuming loaded fries purchased from Rolling Pan, an eatery on PIA Road.
According to the family, the children fell ill hours after eating the fries late Friday night, August 15. The parents rushed them to Sheikh Zayed Hospital when they began vomiting the next morning.
The family stated that their 4-year-old daughter passed away on Monday morning at around 11:30 a.m., while their 7-year-old, who had been referred to the Children’s Hospital, died on Tuesday morning. A third child also fell sick but survived.
The children’s father said, “We have lost everything. Nobody can imagine the pain we are going through. I am not seeking money or claims — I only want my daughters back, if that was possible.”
Parents have lodged an FIR against the eatery and shared medical reports of the deceased children. Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many demanding strict action against food outlets accused of negligence.
