Adele has shared the unfortunate news of canceling her Las Vegas residency dates up to March due to ongoing health challenges. In a social media update, the singer disclosed that she was unwell towards the end of the previous series of shows and didn’t have sufficient time to recover during the break.
Expressing her regret, she explained that despite efforts, her health hasn’t fully rebounded, affecting her voice. Following medical advice, she has decided to take a break and postpone the remaining five weekends of this leg, with details for the rescheduled dates in the works.
Originally set to commence in January 2022, Adele’s Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum faced initial delays due to production issues and COVID-19 challenges among her team.
After rescheduling, the shows were planned to run from November 2022 to March 2023, followed by an additional leg from June to November 2023. Subsequently, Adele extended the residency to June 2024 with 32 more dates in October.
As of now, the singer is slated to resume the residency on May 18, with nine more shows concluding in mid-June.
I love you, I’ll miss you like mad and I’m sorry for the inconvenience x pic.twitter.com/zO3k2ggMKR
