Sheikh ShujaUllah Khan has been promoted to CEO of Etihad Group, marking a significant milestone in his over 20-year journey across Pakistan’s sales, telecom, and FMCG industries.
Announcing the promotion on LinkedIn, Sheikh ShujaUllah expressed his gratitude for the new role and appreciation for the mentors, teams, and partners who supported him throughout his career. “Alhumdulillah, I am happy to share that I have been promoted to the CEO position of Etihad Group! This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people I’ve worked with,” he wrote.
Sheikh ShujaUllah started his professional career in 2001 with Askari, later joining Unilever after completing his MBA in Marketing from Al-Khair University (2000-2002). His diverse experience spans leadership roles at leading companies, including Unilever, Warid Telecom, HBL Branchless Banking, Zong CM Pak, and Zameen.com.

Over the past two decades, he has managed multiple sales categories, including credit cards, Culinary Products, Oils, Beverages, telecom SIMs, Load, MNP, Postpaid, and Mobile Financial Services (MFS). His expertise also covers various channels, including traditional trade, HORECA, and modern trade, coupled with experience in both metropolitan and rural markets.
In his leadership roles, Sheikh ShujaUllah has worked closely with marketing, trade marketing, and supply chain teams to drive sales performance, build brands, and strengthen organizational capabilities. His strategic insight, negotiation skills, and ability to inspire teams have been hallmarks of his success.
In his new role, Sheikh ShujaUllah Khan is eager to embrace fresh challenges and steer Etihad Group to greater heights. “I look forward to driving innovation, growth, and continued success for our organization,” he added.
