The Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police has introduced an initiative called the “One Day Test” specifically designed for national service recruits and high school graduates. This initiative streamlines the process by integrating the preliminary and city tests on the same day, allowing applicants to complete both tests in a single day.
The implementation of this initiative reflects the Sharjah Police’s commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction and happiness. Colonel Khaled Mohamed Al Kay, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, emphasized the police force’s dedication to enhancing public services and facilitating smooth transactions for customers.
Colonel Al Kay stated that the initiative will be in effect until the end of September and will be conducted in two phases: electronic and on-site. The initial phase can be completed electronically through the “MoI” smart application, eliminating the need for in-person attendance. Applicants are required to open a new driver’s license file using the application and participate in all theory classes online. Once they pass the online theory test, they can proceed to the next phase, which involves in-person attendance for practical training. Upon successful completion of the training and fulfillment of the necessary requirements, the final test will include both the preliminary and city tests on the same day.
The Sharjah Police encourages national service recruits and high school graduates to take advantage of this initiative, which will be available until the end of September 2023, to save time and effort in obtaining a driver’s license
