Pakistani cricket prodigy Shaheen Shah Afridi has become a father for the first time and is spreading the happiness with his fans.
The gifted fast bowler and his wife, Ansha welcomed their new son, Aliyaar, on Saturday while Shaheen was in the midst of his duties of reasonably representing Pakistan in the presently ongoing two-Test series against Bangladesh.
On Monday, Shaheen shared with his fans on Instagram the first snap of his newest little bundle of love. The snap depicts Shaheen and Ansha holding their newborn son tiny hand in what could only be described as a beautiful display of love.
Shaheen expressed his overwhelming joy and thanks in a caption, stating, “My heart is full and my life just got a whole lot better. 24/08/2024 will always be special to us.” He also officially introduced his son ‘Aliyaar Afridi’ to the world.
The 24 year old cricketer lavished admiration on his new wife, Ansha, for holding strong throughout the entire experience. He stated, “My wife, Ansha, has been the rock of our little family and I’m very grateful for all the pain and sufferings she put herself through.”
Shaheen also extended a big thank you to his fans for their sincere wishes and prayers, stating, “Remember my little family in your prayers.”
As Shaheen is fully excited for the happy occasion, he will rejoin his team in Islamabad tomorrow for an optional training session ahead of Pakistan’s second Test against Bangladesh on August 30 in Rawalpindi.
