Lahore:( media bites web desk)Pakistani mountaineer Sirbaz has marked a new chapter in the country’s mountaineering history by becoming the first Pakistani to summit all 14 of the world’s 8,000-metre peaks, a feat accomplished by only a few elite climbers globally.
By summiting this peak, Sirbaz Khan has joined the elite group of mountaineers worldwide who have achieved this honor.
His journey began in 2017 with the ascent of Nanga Parbat was followed by summits of some of the world’s most dangerous peaks, including K2, Lhotse.
Notably, Sirbaz Khan ascended 11 of these peaks without supplemental oxygen, a highly challenging and risky effort.
In 2023, he successfully scaled Cho Oyu, and now, with the summit of Shishapangma, he has become the first Pakistani to complete this historic feat.
