In a groundbreaking achievement, Pakistani IT firms secured an impressive eight awards at the prestigious Asia-Pacific Information & Communication Technology Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2023 in Hong Kong last Friday.
Chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), Zohaib Khan, announced the remarkable success, emphasizing that Superwomen Pakistan secured the coveted Gold award in the Superwomen category, marking a standout moment for the country’s tech prowess.
Among the notable winners were Dermavision by NUST, SSGC Automated Reader by FAST NUCES, FlowHCM by Impetus Systems, Koyal by F9, Brainbox by Excellence Delivered, Socialchamp by Social Champ, and Collision Resilient Caged Quadcopter by Ace Aeronautics, each receiving merit awards.

The Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) stands as a collaborative network, uniting ICT communities from 16 member economies, including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. The APICTA Awards, an annual program, aims to foster technology innovation and the development of local ICT solutions for the global market.
Chairman Zohaib Khan, in a statement, underscored P@SHA’s pivotal role as the sole trade body representing Pakistan’s IT industry. He highlighted the association’s registration with DGTO under the Ministry of Commerce and its unique global recognition by esteemed industry institutions such as WISTA, ASOCIO, and APICTA. This reaffirms Pakistan’s standing in the global tech arena, showcasing its commitment to excellence and innovation.
